* hand drums and their playing techniques: djembé, conga, cajon, bongó, timbal, atabaques and others
* rhythms from Africa, Brazil, Cuba, and their modern developments in rock and pop music
* many 'small' percussion instruments such as bells, shakers, shekere, tambourine etc.
* stick-played drums, e.g. bass drums, timbales, and all brazilian samba instruments
* less well-known, but very interesting percussion instruments such as berimbau, pandeiro etc.
'Percussion' is my main competence - the teaching content is incredibly diverse
and can be taught at any desired level , such as.:
* fun-oriented drumming for any age group (from about 5 years)
* more ambitious amateur drumming relating to a specific topic and/or certain instruments and their playing styles
* specific sub-topics for professional musicians/percussionists
The content of your course will be individually determined.
